This is an extremely rare car. Only 6 pre-production, ZR-1 prototype Corvettes exist today. None have been restored such as this one! This Corvette has serial number 80 and was used as an engineering platform by Team Lotus in England.
After Lotus completed development and testing, the car was abandoned. Mike Yager discovered the car in a field in England, having it containerized and shipped to Mid America Motorworks, where it has undergone an extensive, 8-year restoration. This is the only ZR-1 Pilot made with the rare combination of a Montana Blue exterior and bright blue interior. Prototype items of note are a unique DIC display, unique console with FX-3 switch, power key located on the console, base HVAC system instead of the normal electronic unit, and prototype, extra deep and extra wide wheels.
